MUSSOORIE

Mussoorie, also known as the Queen of the Hills, is located at just an hour's drive from Dehradun.

Mussoorie has gained immortality amidst the pages of various novels, particularly the ones that pertain to the famous author Ruskin Bond. He has portrayed Mussoorie as the epitome of nature's romanticism across many of his famous literary works. Located at an elevation of 1900 meters, this quaint little hill town gained popularity during the British era in the 19th century. The British officers loved this holiday destination in Uttarakhand and it earned Mussoorie the moniker of "Queen Of The Hill Stations". Apart from the various tourist places in Mussoorie, the hill station in Uttarakhand also serves as the gateway to the glaciers of Gangotri and Yamunotri, two of the pristine pilgrimage spots for Hindus. With so many options to choose from, Mussoorie is possibly one of the perfect summer getaways in India.

Mussoorie has been the preferred vacation destination for families and honeymoon couples.
