PAURI GARHWAL

Pauri Garhwal is a picturesque hill district in Uttarakhand.  This district is blessed with spectacular views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks, beautiful valleys and surroundings, winding rivers, dense forests and hospitable people with a rich culture.

The Kandolia Temple, dedicated to the Trishulan Kandolia deity, is situated on the Lansdowne Road amidst natural surroundings. Kunkaleshwar Mahadev is an 8th century Shiva temple with a wonderful view of the snow-capped peaks. Jwalpa Devi Temple is a pilgrimage site situated on the main Pauri Kotdwar road. Medanpuri Devi Temple is considered to be a Siddhapeeth dedicated to Goddess Medanpuri Devi. Kalagarh is famous for nature lovers. The dam built on Ram Ganga in Kalagarh is also worth seeing.
