Lakes & Falls 

Despite being a landlocked state, Uttarakhand boasts of a large number of lakes and waterfalls across the state.  Most of the lakes and waterfalls are surrounded by forests and mountains, offering a serene escape from the city life.

There is no dearth of picnic spots in Uttarakhand!  While Dehradun has some of the most popular spots like Shikhar Falls, Mussoorie has Kempty Falls, Bhatta Falls as well as the Mussoorie Lake.
