Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar)

The Clock Tower or "Ghanta Ghar" is an iconic landmark of Dehradun. Located in the centre of the city at Rajpur Road, the Clock Tower has an hexagonal shape, making it one of its kind in Asia!

Khalanga War Memorial

Khalanga War Memorial is a heritage monument dedicated to the memory of Gorkha soldiers who fought the British in 1814 in the Battle of Nalapani, the first battle of the Anglo-Nepalese War. It is located on Sahastradhara Road, just 5 kms from the Dehradun city centre.

Mindrolling Monastery

The Mindrolling Monastery is one of the largest Buddhist centres. It provides Buddhist education to over 300 monks.

Regional Science Centre

The Regional Science Centre in Dehradun is a Science Museum and Park jointly developed by the Uttarakhand Government and the Union Government.

Sahastradhara Ropeway

Located opposite Sahastradhara near Dehradun, the ropeway is located on top of the hill, offering you a 360 degree view of the Doon Valley. Sahastradhara means "Thousand Fold Spring". You will find a waterfall which contains sulphur, a therapeutic mineral.

Dehradun Zoo

Earlier known as the Malsi Deer Park, the Dehradun Zoo is situated on the Dehradun-Mussoorie Road just 15 kms from the Clock Tower. The Zoo falls under the Malsi Reserve Forest range. The park was established in 1976 with mainly spotted deer. It was later upgraded to a mini Zoo.

Indian Military Academy

Established in 1932, the Indian Military Academy trains officers for the Indian Army. Spread over 1,400 acres, the campus can accommodate upto 1,650 cadets for training programs that range from 3 months to 16 months.

Lacchiwala Picnic Spot

Lacchiwalla is a popular picnic spot in the Doiwala area of Dehradun. Its man made water pools and green forests are a major attraction. for visitors.

Rajaji National Park

For nature lovers who want to witness the harmonic union of flora and fauna, visit Rajaji National Park. This park is home to almost 400 species of birds and various animals like Tiger, Leopard, Himalayan Bear, Cheetah and many more. Take a trip on the safari for a unique and wonderful experience.

Robber's Cave

Located in Anarwala Village just 8 kms from the Dehradun city centre, Robber's Cave is one of the most popular picnic destinations in Dehradun.

Shikhar Fall

A popular picnic spot in Dehradun, Shikhar Fall is easily accessible from the city, just 20 kms from ISBT Dehradun. To reach the waterfall, one needs to trek for 1km. Enjoy the waterfall along with nature as you can find a number of bird species in the area.
