One of the most revered temples of Goddess Mansa Devi, the Mansa Devi Temple is located in Bilwa Parvat, near Haridwar (4.4 kms from Har Ki Pauri).

BACKGROUND

Goddess Mansa Devi is believed to be another form of Goddess Shakti.  According to legend, this temple emerged from the mind of Sage Kashyap.  Due to its location on a hill top, the temple offers a panoramic view of Haridwar.

This temple is counted as one of five sacred temples in Haridwar along with Chandi Devi and Maya Devi Temples.  The Mansa Devi Temple is located facing the Chandi Devi Temple in Neel Parvat.  A unique feature of the temple is the 3 kms pedestrian path from Haridwar.

To reach the temple, one can take the ropeway service which is available from Haridwar.
